Chemonics seeks short- and long-term consultants for an anticipated USAID-funded project in Africa to promote sustainable water sector business models in order to expand water supply and sanitation access to poor communities.
Job QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of USAID operations, programming, and structure; project management experience desirable; English fluency required; French language skills a plus; citizens of African countries strongly encouraged to apply; minimum 10 years of experience in one or more of the following areas, preferably in one or more African countries: 1. Water utility and water sector-level reform, 2. Utility management and performance improvement, 3. Utility regulatory reform, 4. Capital investment planning and finance, 5. Project finance, 6. Water utility benchmarking, 7. Community outreach and training related to water supply and sanitation, 8.Water service frameworks for the poor.
