The University of Maryland’s Institute of Human Virology has several openings available for qualified candidates. Positions will be based in Rwanda, Africa.
A Health Educator is sought in Rwanda. Responsibilities: Coordinate and implement education programs in a community setting; serve as part of the HIV/AIDS Relief Technical Team; support the HIV/AIDS Relief in country treatment adherence programs; scale up, continuous quality assurance and quality improvement efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Master’s degree in related field and 1 year of experience is required; three years of related experience with at least 2 years working in HIV/AIDS care and treatment as well as community health at the national level is preferred.
