Chemonics International seeks a chief of party for an anticipated USAID-funded project to strengthen HIV/AIDS treatment services with nutritional counseling and support in Ethiopia. Responsibilities include: provide technical direction and management
oversight for project activities; supervise technical and administrative staff; and liaise with high-level officials of the U.S. and Ethiopian governments and donor agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in public health, nutrition, or related field; M.D. or Ph.D. degree preferred; minimum eight years of increasingly responsible experience managing USAID-funded projects, preferably as chief of party or other senior
management position; demonstrated technical expertise and professional work experience in HIV/AIDS, food and nutrition programming, food production, and product distribution; experience working in Ethiopia; strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills; fluency in English; proficiency or fluency in Amharic preferred.
