USAID/Uganda seeks a Country Coordinator to manage, facilitate, communicate, and negotiate the inter-agencies interactions related to the planning, collaborations, implementation, and reporting for the PEPFAR/Uganda program under the supervision of the Ambassador. He/she shall supervise professional and administrative staff in the PEPFAR Coordinator’s office.
REQUIREMENTS: Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in Public Policy, Health, Administration, or undergraduate with at least seven years of progressively senior experience in managing HIV/AIDS, health or other development programs in a developing country. Experience: Five years managing public health or other social sector programs; experience managing an office and staff, three or more managing HIV/AIDS ideally in sub-Saharan Africa, experience with PEPFAR, one or more USG agencies, high level government and counterparts, public speaking and presentations. Skills and Abilities: Leadership, superb communication, strong organizational, strong managerial, well honed interpersonal, conflict mediating, analytical, writing and strong computer skills all required.
